Tues., Aug. 2 An annual community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, making our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Visit with local police officers, firefighters and park rangers, and enjoy tennis and other games and special activities.
Aug. 4-7 The annual event returns to Silver Springs Park and other locations in Springfield, bringing together family and friends for a parade, socials, concerts, sports competitions, picnics, Timmons Hall events and more.
Fri., Aug. 12 A relaxing evening of catch-and-release fishing, Cow Train, bounce house and a campfire — bring your own food to cook! Bring your fishing gear, limited rentals available. Registration required.
