Juneteenth Weekend Festival

Friday, June 16, 2023


Celebrate Springfield’s Juneteenth weekend at multiple events and locations. The “We Are One” theme kicks off Friday evening at Springfield Art Museum with Harlem Renaissance Art project bags from the museum, “I, Too, Am America” presented by Timmons Hall, and a performance of “The Milly Project,” a play depicting actual events in Springfield history. Celebrations continue Saturday at the Springfield Expo Center with food, music, history and activities for all ages. Presented by the NAACP of Springfield, in collaboration with Community Partnership of the Ozarks. Information at SGFJuneteenth.com.
