Today is the autumnal equinox, AKA the first day of fall. The equinox happens exactly halfway between the longest day of the year (summer solstice) and the shortest day of the year (winter solstice). That means the sun is setting earlier, the leaves are starting to change and cooler weather is coming. Which makes it a great time to get outside and enjoy the season in a park or on a trail!
