Happy Monday! This week we’ll be sharing picnic spots since today is National Eat Outside Day.????Today’s picnic spot is a hidden treasure. Located inside of Ritter Springs Park, pass the playground area and through the gate, almost a half mile down the gravel road (Scott Road), you will find a beautiful lake with a picnic table and plenty of social distancing. If you go there in the evening, you might even see bats flying around eating their dinner on the north side of the lake.?? If you’re feeling ambitious, you can continue to walk or bike the Fulbright Spring Greenway for another 6-miles all the way to Truman Elementary School. ?? Please remember to be smart while visiting any park or trail: stay six feet away from others, avoid gathering in groups, cover your coughs and sneezes, and stay home if you’re showing symptoms of illness.
