The Springfield-Greene County Park Board's Ranger Division provide safety and security in 105 parks and trails.
What we do
Patrol parks, facilities and trails, including bicycle patrol. Staff festivals, sports tournaments and community events. Provide positive interactions while serving as ambassadors for Parks.
How to contact a Park Ranger
Park rangers are dispatched by calling 911. If a ranger is not available, 911 dispatchers may send officers from Springfield Police Department or Greene County Sheriff's Office.
How to become a Park Ranger
The City of Springfield is always looking for qualified applicants for Park Rangers. Applicants must be Missouri POST-certified, with a minimum of two years law enforcement experience. Apply at ParkBoard.org/Jobs today.
