One of this garden’s most appealing features isn’t even seen in the plants and trees designed for its partially shady location on the path along the lake.

Planted on a large berm with drainage underneath, this working garden provides flood control for the south side of Lake Drummond to slow run off from the industrial area to the southeast.

Discover a small linear garden and benches near the Dragonfly Playpod as you circle the 0.7 mile walking trail around Lake Drummond. This area near the lake is experiences occasional flooding and dry shade. Azaleas, a redbud tree and perennials can be seen here.
