The garden is designed to provide interest throughout the growing season, starting with spring bulbs of daffodils and tulips, then peonies and iris transitioning to roses, daylilies and astors to bookend the fall season.
The “Quad Garden” was designed in four quadrants representing the Brentwood Estates, Cherry Court, Ever Green and Hillbilly Gardeners clubs, today operating as the Springfield Garden Council.
Additional support is needed, however, to maintain other aspects of the garden’s infrastructure.
