Fitness assessments are available to members. A qualified fitness professional will help you design a fitness program appropriate to your needs. Your goals, limitations, and injury history will be taken into account to create an individualized program. This services is free for all Dan Kinney Family Center members.

  1. Yoga


    Learn proper breathing techniques and gentle, yet powerful, yoga poses to help reduce stress and increase flexibility.

  2. Tae Kwon Do


    Basic martial arts techniques, beginning through advanced students. Instructor-led classes emphasis these essential training principles: be polite, be patient, be alert, be brave, do your best., respect yourself and others.

    Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

Tabata


Tabata is a high intensity interval class that performs 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for eight rounds before switching movements. This class provides cardio endurance, strength, speed and agility training while giving a complete workout with a high calorie burn. Class begins Sept. 29.

Free Virtual Classes


Dan Kinney Family Center offers virtual classes, available to members whenever the aerobics room is not in use. Classes range 20-50 minutes, and include: Fusion (Yoga-Pilates Mix), Definitions (Toning), Express (Intense 20-Minute Workouts), Kinetics (Total-Body Interval/Circuit Workouts), Stomp (Step Class), TKO (Cardio Kickboxing), Transitions (Workouts geared to 45+) and Vibe (Dance aerobics).
