  1. Adopt an Urban Garden


    Enjoy the benefits of gardening and growing your own food — even if you don’t have a yard! Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park has 60 raised garden beds available for rent March-October. Choose from 8’x16’ or 16’x16’. You chose what to grow. Maintenance and watering are your responsibility. All garden beds are filled with topsoil and organic matter, with several water sources are on site. Plots are open dawn to dusk. Previous renters may renew garden plots Jan. 2. New renters may reserve plots Feb. 1.

    Fee: $25 / 8x16 ft. plot(optional prep fee $15), $40 / 16x16 ft. plot (optional prep fee $30)

  2. Themed Educational Field Trips


    Fun and engaging educational field trips are available for pre-school through 5th grade classes. Designed to assist teachers by aligning with Missouri State Standards. Classes are 30-60 minutes long, and may include up to 45 students. Classes in the temperature-controlled barn classroom.

  3. Fishing Pole Rentals


    Take the kids fishing in our one-acre stocked fishing pond. Hourly fishing pole rentals, available in the gift shop, include everything you need: fishing rod, reel and bait. Fishing is catch-and-release only, no keepers, and a license is not required.

  4. Family Fishing Night


    Bring the whole family for a relaxing evening of catch-and-release fishing, plus Cow Train and a campfire. Bring your own bait and gear. Limited fishing rod rentals available. Bring your own food to roast over the campfire. Disposable roasting forks provided or bring your own. Drinks and ice cream may be purchased in the Gift Shop. Ages 2 yrs. and younger are free with paid adult. Call 417-837-5949 to register. Registration required by 5 p.m. the day before event. Space is limited to 50 people. View flyer.
