All rentals must be booked two weeks in advance by calling 417-837-5949.

Room Rentals

The classroom at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park is attached to the animal barn. This room can accommodate up to 50 people in chairs comfortably or 36 people seated at tables. It is a great option of birthday parties, family gatherings, or organizational meetings. As part of a room rental, the farm staff will handle set up and clean up. Food, drink, and decorations may be brought in for your rental as well.


The cost to rent the classroom is $50 per hour with a minimum rental time of 2 hours. Full payment is required at time of registration. To allow staff time to set the room and clean between rentals, we offer 3 rental times:

  • 9-11 a.m.
  • Noon - 2 p.m.
  • 3-5 p.m.
Classroom is not rented out during the month of October due to Harvest Fest.

Bonfire Rental

  • Includes 3 wooden benches that curve around the pit
  • Please bring your own roasting stick/forks
  • Staff will start and tend to fire as needed
  • Feel free to bring food to cook over the fire
  • After-hours fee of $125 may apply after 5 p.m.
  • Please call us for time availabilities

Bounce House Rental
Rutledge-Wilson Farm now has a large 15 foot by 15 foot farm bounce house available for parties and rentals at the farm only. The bounce house rents for $35 per hour with a minimum rental time of 2 hours. Farm staff will set up the bounce house prior to the designated rental time and then clean up upon completion of the rental. Bounce house is available on a first come, first served basis and must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled rental. Must be attached to classroom, bonfire or park rental.


Cow Train Rental

Make your farm party a memorable experience by adding a cow train rental. The cow train is a one of a kind attraction featuring 5 cow themed "Barrel Cars" that are pulled around the farm on an exciting ride for kids of all ages. The Cow Train is appropriate for children ages 3 years and older as well as adults. Cow Train Rental is $50 per hour with a 1 hour minimum and includes a staff member to drive and supervise the cow train while in use. The Cow Train is available on a first come, first served basis and must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled rental. Must be attached to classroom, bonfire or park rental.


Park Rentals

If you would like to have a large group event or gathering such as a corporate picnic, wedding, school function, etc. at the farm then a park rental is the option for you. A park rental allows you to hold your large function on park property and to have items once approved by park administration such as:

  • BBQ grill
  • Jump house
  • Music
  • Tent, etc.

Note: When you have a park rental, the park remains open to the public however the area you have requested will be held specifically for your group.

Standard Park Rental

  • $50/hour with a 4 hour minimum
  • After hours fee applies if rental goes past business hours at $125 one time fee
  • Outside vendors are not allowed 
  • Can add our extra activities to your rental including cow train, hay ride, and bounce house for the appropriate fee
  • Classroom can be added if available for $50/hour with a 2 hour minimum
  • Can bring pop up tents, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Special paperwork is needed if there will be grilling (no fireworks)
  • $175 Parking assistance fee if Parks Staff are required for parking attendees.

Premium Park Rental

  • $100/hour with a 4 hour minimum
  • After hours fee applies if rental goes past business hours at $125 one time fee
  • Outside vendors allowed: catering, tent rentals, music,  attractions
  • Can add our extra activities to your rental including cow train, hay ride, and bounce house for the appropriate fee
  • Classroom can be added if available for $50/hour with a 2 hour minimum
  • Special paperwork is needed for the outside vendors, or if there will be grilling (no fireworks)
  • $175 Parking assistance fee if Parks Staff are required for parking attendees.

  1. Adopt an Urban Garden


    Enjoy the benefits of gardening and growing your own food — even if you don’t have a yard! Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park has 60 raised garden beds available for rent March-October. Choose from 8’x16’ or 16’x16’. You chose what to grow. Maintenance and watering are your responsibility. All garden beds are filled with topsoil and organic matter, with several water sources are on site. Plots are open dawn to dusk. Previous renters may renew garden plots Jan. 2. New renters may reserve plots Feb. 1.

  2. Fishing Pole Rentals


    Take the kids fishing in our one-acre stocked fishing pond. Hourly fishing pole rentals, available in the gift shop, include everything you need: fishing rod, reel and bait. Fishing is catch-and-release only, no keepers, and a license is not required.
