About the Farm Park
The 207-acre farm park is designed to provide an authentic farm experience, through educational and recreational resources celebrating Greene County's rich agricultural heritage. The park includes animal barns, visitor center and gift shop, farm-themed playground, a fishing pond, 20-acre native prairie, pasture land, garden plot rentals, a trailhead and one-mile paved trail along Wilson's Creek Greenway, and Wilson's Creek.
Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park opened in 2007 on a farm formerly owned and operated by the Wilson and Rutledge families. Plans for this park were a result of the community's Vision 20/20 plan, and construction was funded by the 2001 county-wide Park Sales Tax.
