Greene County Sheriff's Mounted Posse - Posse Badge
The Valley Water Mill Park Equestrian Center is proud to be in partnership with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office by facilitating the Sheriff's Mounted Posse of Greene County.
The Sheriff's Mounted Posse of Greene County is a non-profit organization designed to promote good horsemanship and fellowship through clinics, charity events, fundraising, trail rides, and other events. Look for us in local parades, providing security at events, rodeos and fairs. Posse members are representatives of the Sheriff, but are not law enforcement personnel and do not enforce laws. The Posse is always interested in recruiting new members that are willing to be active within the group.
The Posse continues the tradition of the old west by providing volunteer
services to the Sheriff and the community. For more information, please
contact Trevor Galyon at 417-833-9673.
