Rutledge-Wilson strives to offer a variety of family friendly events throughout the year. Whether you enjoy blue-grass music, fishing, or just want a fun place for the kids, Rutledge-Wilson is sure to have a special event for you.

    38th Annual Kids Fishing Fun Day A morning of learning and fishing in our stocked pond. Kids may catch and keep up to three fish. Kids weigh their fish and learn how to clean them with the Mo. Ongoing Programs

  1. Adopt an Urban Garden


    Enjoy the benefits of gardening and growing your own food - even if you don't have a yard! Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park has 70 raised garden beds available for rent March-October.  Choose from 8'x16' or 16'x16'. You chose what to grow, but all maintenance and watering are your responsibility. Plots are open dawn to dusk. All garden beds are filled with topsoil and organic matter and several water sources are on site. Previous renters may renew garden plots starting Jan. 2. New renters may reserve plots beginning Feb. 1.

    Fee: $25 / 8x16 ft. plot(optional prep fee $15), $40 / 16x16 ft. plot (optional prep fee $30)

  2. Themed Educational Field Trips


    Fun and engaging educational field trips are available for pre-school through 5th grade classes. Designed to assist teachers by aligning with Missouri State Standards. Classes are 30-60 minutes long, and may include up to 45 students. Classes in the temperature-controlled barn classroom.
